The bat, the birds,and the beasts
There as a big fight beteen the birds and the beasts. The bat did not join in the fight.
Some birds said to the bat, Come ith us. But he replied, I am a beast.
Later on, some beasts said to him, Come ith us. But he replied, I am a bird.
At last the fighting ended peacefully. The bat first ent to the birds, and anted to join in the celebration, but they all turned against him. He then ent to the beasts, but as also driven aay.

Hercules and Pallas

The sick lion
A lion had e to the end of his days. He lay helpless under a tree.
