    The Wind And The Sun
    One day the ind said to the sun, “Look at that man alking along the road. I can get his cloak off more quickly than you can.”
    “We ill see about that,” said the sun. “I ill let you try first.”
    So the ind tried to make the man take off his cloak. He ble and ble, but the man only pulled his cloak more closely around himself.
    “I give up,” said the ind at last. “I cannot get his cloak off.” Then the sun tried. He shone as hard as he could. The man soon became hot and took off his cloak.

A Fox once sa a Cro fly off ith a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree. ‘That’s for me, as I am a Fox,’ said Master Reynard, and he alked up to the foot of the tree. ‘Good-day, Mistress Cro,’ he cried. ‘Ho ell you are looking to-day: ho glossy your feathers; ho bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds.’ The Cro lifted up her head and began to ca her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox. ‘That ill do,’ said he. ‘That as all I anted. In exchange for your cheese I ill give you a piece of advice for the future .’Do not trust flatterers.
