And Houyi anted to give one to his girlfriend chang'e. Unfortunately, one evening, Houyi didn't at home, a thief broke into his house and order chang'e surrender the pill. Chang'e felt very helpless and didn't kno ho to do. So she salloed the to pills. In the end, chang'e fle to the moon.

NASA华裔科学家赵丰教授认为后羿射日事件其实是一次彗星撞击地球事件，类似于1994年levy-9彗星撞击木星事件的缩小版。因为彗星质地松散，当彗星被行星捕捉，在潮汐力作用下会发生解体成为一串天体，所谓九日，正是彗星解体为9块。
