Who Deserves Help?
Many years ago, there lived a very rich man ho anted to do something for the people of his ton. But first he anted to find out hether they deserved his help. So he placed a very large stone in the center of the main road into ton. Then he hid behind a tree and aited. Soon an old man came along ith his co.
Who put this stone in the center of the road? said the old man, but he did not try to remove the stone. Instead, ith some difficulty he passed around the stone and continued on his ay. Another man came along and did the same thing; then another came, and another. All of them plained about the stone in the center of the road, but not one of them tried to remove it. Late in the afternoon, a young man came along. He sa the stone and said, The night ill be very dark. Some neighbor ill e along later in the dark and ill fall against the stone.
The young man then began to move the stone. He pushed and pulled ith all his strength to move it to one side. But imagine his surprise hen under the stone he found a bag full of money and this message: This money is for the thoughtful person ho removes this stone from the road. That person deserves help.

在傍晚，一位年轻人走过来，看见那块大石头说“晚上会很黑的，村民们走过的话会被石头绊倒的。”于是他开始搬开那块大石头，使尽全身的力气，又推又拉，好不容易把石头移到了一边，出乎年轻人的意料，他发现石头下面有一大袋钱，还有一张纸，上面写着钱是给为人着想的人的，也就是移走石头的人，他是值得帮助的。
